HI All
I have an older fiberglass and plywood hull (1980) baretta boat. It never saw much use before I bought this season. A couple of the buttons came loose now that I have been putting the cover on and off this season. could someone let me know the best way for repair? They are all on sides, not transom.
Thanks in advance.

Pictures will help us see what exactly you are dealing with. In general, most of the old buttons are riveted in. The process is simply to drill them out with a drill bit slightly bigger than the rivet. After you drill them out, you have the choice of installing a new riveted one or go with the screw in type that is more common these days.
