I'm making a boat cradle today but I want my boat to be on casters. I have to do the restoration in the yard as I dont have a garage. I also want to be able to mow the grass around the area so pushing it around will be a huge plus. I have a coupon for 20% off entire purchase of $100 or more at harbor freight. I saw these casters:

and:

Would my cradle, boat, engine and myself working on top be too much weight for these casters? I tend to overengineer things like i will the cradle.

I cant find anything for weight specs on my boat

It's a 1974 Thunderbird 190. Trihull.

Re: boat cradle

I built this using the Pneumatic Casters from HF. Boat weighs 400 lbs. Casters will support 1200 lbs so I'm sure they'll work for your boat. I could roll the boat easily. Total cost was $60 bucks. Since yours is a tri-hull I design the supports to be full bunks. By the way, it's usually best to keep all your posts for your project in one thread. Makes it easier for everyone to follow along.
