Boat literally started on first key turn first time into the water this season, would however not start next day but would turn over, no gauge response in "on" position but bilge, nav lights, and blower are functioning normally. Replaced ignition circuit fuse next weekend and boat started and ran properly. This weekend boat again turned over but would not start, no gauge response. Replaced fuse again but still no start.

Any thoughts?

gauges have to come alive in the on position or it will not fire .,start at the ign switch because to crank you have to have power on the Red but not on the purple 'I"' lead

gauges AND ignition are fed by the purple wire from the ignition switch. the red wire is the positive from the motor to the ignition switch

check your safety lanyard which is usually right after the ignition switch

Is the fuse blowing, or are you just replacing it? If its blowing, then there is a good possibility that the new fuse you just installed blew

Thanks for all the great advice, talked to a couple of master technicians in my shop today and they laid out a process for testing the ignition circuit with a test light. Start at the fuse and work backward. Consensus seems to be a faulty ignition or dead man switch due to corrosion. This makes sense as the boat set up for a good 8-9 years prior to my purchase last May. Boat only had 17 hours on it when I picked it up and still has only 67.
