I had a bit of a bad day , I had planned on indoor storage this year, and when I went to take the boat, I found the place full even though I have made arrangements and paid a deposit, was handed the deposit back with a sorry , and I agreed their sorry. but any way so now its out door stogage and I need to have a dock cover made , I was planning on having it done during the winter but ill go ahead and do it now , and I got a few quotes , using sunbrella fabric, 4 poles and vents 1150.00 for a 20 foot boat this sounds reasonable to me. And yes I know prices very to locations but any thoughts would be appreciated .

If that price includes all material and labor costs, it sounds very reasonable.

Re: boat dock cover

Looks like its going to be another week or so. I dropped by the shop today. Their was a weeks delay on shipping due to the Christmas rush getting in the material but it is in now. That's why I waited till this time of year. Splash day isn't until march 15 th and I don't need the boat back until January to start in on the new deck furniture. And I didn't want to start in on that till the boat has a good cover. this is what I have plannedboat floor plan.jpg

Just called the shop to see what the hold up is it should of be done by the 15 th and its now the 28 th and am told it will be done by Friday the 30th or Monday the 1 th. I don't mind it taking so long but I do mind it sitting there exposed to rain and freezing temps. I know it wont hurt it and we haven't had any hard freezes but I am getting a bit frustrated. I just don't like my boat being where I cant keep a eye on it.
