So I just opened my boat for spring I have a 2003 Stingray 180 with a Mercruiser 3.0.
I changed the plugs, flushed the coolant out from winter and changed the oil. I have two batteries and they have remained plugged in to a battery tender when not in use. After I did the tune up I started it up and it cranked up and ran perfectly. I checked the blower and the bilge and the lights and all worked. The blower works independently of the ignition switch. After letting it run awhile I turned the switch off. The next day i went to check it again, turned the blower on and nothing, only heard a sound like the speakers were turned off/on . Same thing with the lights and horn. Heard a sound through the speakers. Turned the ignition and same thing Im hearing a sound in my speaker for a split second after turning the switches or the ignition but there is no power to the blower, lights and the engine wont turn over. What is going on??? Any ideas?

Welcome to iBoats . . .

I am just wondering if something was left on or has shorted out and drained the battery over night. Use your DVM to check the battery voltage. It should be about 12.7 volts at rest.

i used the DVM and found out one of the batteries was dead. Thanks for the answers. Gonna put the new battery in and hope it solves the issue.
