Thats what Im leaning towards, carpet in a boat is asking for mold to me (and proven true), so on my 20' I want to put truck bed lining painting onto the floor. Anyone else done it? Whats good stuff to use? I was looking at Herculiner in gray at the local napa store.

I've heard of lots using the truck bed liner. There's a video on You Tube about a couple of guys spraying it in. Seems to me to be as good as most anything else...other than carpet. I also read where some are using standard oil based enamel then a couple of coats of high gloss polyurethane for protection ( I would think you'd have to use something to keep you from slipping however). When questioned, the guy said, "They use poly to protect b-ball courts so it should hold up.

Dunno...I'm experimenting and asking questions like the rest of them.

You want to make sure you are not in need for any repairs below the deck before you seal it up.

We have heard of very mixed results using bed-liner.

Yeah, I would be sure of that at the time of sealing up. What would be the negative to doing this?

If you DID have to repair something after using the liner it could become a huge headache. So ive been told...

Herculiner is some good stuff. I put it on my fiberglass Jeep top 6+ years ago. It's stills stuck tight....It goes on smooth with a roller.
