I was at home depot and seen this foam in the insulation section. It was pink and came in big sheeps would this be suitable for my boat. It looks like it would not hold water
Depends how you want to use it and where it would be installed. Many of the small alum fishing boats use blocks of styrofoam under the seats for floatation. It must not be exposed to sunlight or it will deteriorate quickly. Can be glued in place with a special glue just for styrofoam. Comes in tubes for caulking guns.
