Just because there is a sign giving you the overhead clearance doesn't mean you have to read it !!!.....I guess....

Those signs aren’t always accurate. A resurfacing of the road can change the clearance without a corresponding update to the sign. Around here a load like that would require pilot cars to alert traffic of the oversized load and to check clearances before the load gets there.
