Boat id help

Looking at buying this boat but it is a 3 hour ride. I am trying to figure out what model it is as I google what I am told nothing comes up. Has a nissan 70 hp outboard is this a good engine? Guy said it is a 1993 TXZ VS18 Doesn't come up under google.

TXZ is the designation for a Texas homemade boat.

It probably didnt have a title at some point and the state of texas issued a HIN to designate it for regstration and titling, in 1993.

It might be a model VS18, but hard to say whose VS18

Its a 20+ yr old boat. What did you want to look up.

Its overall comdition will be more important then who made it.

I'd check that boat VERY carefully for rot as it looks pretty much like a lot of the "before" photos in our restoration section. Nissans are good motors but I think the part support for the older ones is spotty.
