Boat Idling Rough

We have a 1990 Larson Lazer, it is idling rough it is about 10000 and 8000 Rpm, so far we have changed the spark plugs and wire and distrubutor cap and ignition cola. Also the fuel filter When we give it gas and take it back off the gas it wants to die sometime AND it does sometime. It starts great. WHen we turn it down between 650-700 it dosen't want to keep running and it keeps jumping. PLEASE HELP US

Sounds like when you shift most of your problems occour.Might be a shift cable. Jerry

Not sure I want to even know what the WOT (Wide Open Throttle) rpm is


Of course we are just joking with you Jennifer, but we really do need some real information and specific information about your engine and drive.
