boat info-the library

is anyone else getting a error code on the library or is it just me? i've looked there atleast 25 times with no problem. today,have gone there a few times and keep getting error message!

Same here, I've often wondered how they could 'get away' with publishing those manuals on the internet because from what I've seen any genuine manuals that pop up get removed pretty quickly.
Maybe they had a special deal or something.
As clunky as the site was I hope they get it back up.

i'm trying to find the strainer screen in the cooling system. i did find one, but it was in one of the oil lines. 2001 optimax 135.

On a slightly earlier model it's located on the top of the exhaust plate, the water then goes via a hose to the compressor.
So, standing behind the motor you should be looking straight at it right at the top of the exhaust plate between the cylinder banks.

This was a good site and people started posting about it and Merc shut em down, just like the other site 1marine I think it was callled..

thanks fed, i'm doing new water pump,impeller and new thermostats. figured i might as well clean the screen while i'm working on it!
