Boat Info

Well just picked up my boat (first one) ... it is a Robalo CC in great shape and I am trying to figure out the exact model of the boat itself (for parts and obtaining manual) I have the HIN.... is there a resource online where I can enter the HIN and find specific details on the boat itself? Also sames goes for engines which are twin Mariner 150's.

Would like to at least obtain exact model #'s and obtain owners manuals for both hull and engines.

This is Robalo's contact info. Most manufactuers are really helpful answering questions like yours. Give them a call with your HIN # and they should be able to fix you up. I don't know anything about the engines. I'm sure someone will chime in with the right answer for you though.

Thanks for the help but still having trouble.... when I called that # they informed me they did not own Robalo at the year my boat was made.... it is a 1989 so they referred me to US Marine. I called US Marine and they stated they didnt buy Robalo until 1992 so they referred me back to Chaparral and no one seems to know who owned Robalo in 1989 and where I can get the Model # from and owners manual.

Yup.... I actually looked at that site originally. Just called US Marine back and they searched and have no archives of a manual or info for that year of a boat. I did go to NADA.com and under the boat list there were several Robalo Listings (Most likely because they have changed hands so many times) I did see under the listing for C obia / Robalo at http://www.nadaguides.com/Boats/1989/Cobia-Boats-Robalo they list two models that were sold in 1989 that are 23' so I am guessing mine is one of them ..... so it is either an R2320 or an R2365
