Hi All,

I purchased a 21ft cuddy cabin boat recently and trying to find a place to launch/retrive her from eastside of the Lake Washington. I live in Redmond WA and will appreciate any recommendations on where to go.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Frank,

We used to live in Juanita, Lynnwood now. Lake Wa. is mostly private with very few public launches.

The only public launches are,

Kenmore, off of 68th.

its a nightmare though cause its free. and its a pain cause its on the slough and doesnt have a dock. Gotta beach the boat, then go get the car if your alone. Lots of waiting cause new boaters go here, lots of irate people.

Kirkland, at the end of Market St. pretty crowded on a busy day, not a lot of parking.

Mercer Island, a pain to get to, but not a whole lot of people go here.

Renton, at Coulon park

Sand Point Magnuson Park. We go here, $90 for a parking pass for all season, plenty of parking and a launch/retrieve "director" on busy days to keep everyone in order.

Hi Seaman,

Thank you so much.
This will be my first time boating at Seattle and feel quite excited about it. I plan to use the Magnuson Park as well for the first time. I saw on their website, they have overnight parking and I was wondering where can I find a slip for docking overnight, paid or free.

HMMM, not too sure about that, I have never checked in to that. Depending where you are looking, In Lake Washington, Kirkland may have some overnight slips, or possibly Fishermans Terminal, or the Shillshole marina,
