I have a 1986 16.5ft fibreglass tempest tri-hull bow-rider with 1975/75hp Stinger on the back. boat runs nice and level up to half throttle, but when you pin the throttle, the boat leans to port. I've made sure that the motor is mounted stright, and even shimmed the right side of the motor in hopes that this would help. It dosn't!
Could it be prop cavitation? The hull? Would a whale tail help?

A whale tail may help, I don't think it could hurt. Is your skeg bent ?

It may just be the prop torque lifting the starboard side of the boat. Has it always done this or is it something new?

My skeg is stright, and I previously had a 50hp Evenrude on the boat that did the same thing but not so drasticlly.
MW
