Maybe this isn't the place to ask but i guess I will anyway. I have a 2011 SS201. I recently bought a property with a boat lift that I'll be storing my Hurricane on. Can anyone tell me the proper spacing of the supports for my boat?

Thanks,

Rick

Re: Boat lift spacing

I have a FD202GS in a boat house on a lift, but I'm not sure what your asking. Are you asking a about the drive on bunk rail spacing, the space between the cable lifting beams (fore & aft) or the space between the cables (width). The boat bunk rail spacing on mine are fitted so when on drive on, the bunk rails are fitted just inside the outer bottom hull ribs. The distance between the lift beams is approx even with my fore an aft hull cleats. I load the boat a hair forward to get most of the engine weight over the rear lift beam. When the boat is loaded the cables are 3" or so from the hull on all sides. Not sure if that answer your question, if not I'll be glad to give more clarification. Most lifts on our lake are designed to adjust to any type boat, but that's how mine are set up. Bunk rail spacing is pretty forgiving on a Hurricane hull though, of course a hair wider is better than a hair too narrow.
