We have just bought a 1972 16' Crestliner boat. Do you think we will be able to get another ten years service out of it? The boat is in very good shap. The motor is a 1982 50 hp Johnson. Do you know what the life of a motor of this age is?<br />Thanks. Conrad

TLC x preventive maintenace x luck = Longevity<br /><br />THere are a lot of motors from the 50's still running strong, it all depends on the use/abuse they take, the hours used, the care given.<br /><br />Good Luck with her.
