Howdy, WrightRA.<br /><br />It depends on engine size.<br /><br />In the smaller sizes, like 4hp to 50hp, all of the 2 strokes are carbureted, and the 4 strokes eat their lunch of fuel usage.<br /><br />When you get into the larger engines, the DFI 2 strokes can match the 4 strokes on fuel efficiency. Both DFI 2 strokes and EFI 4 strokes get much better efficiency than carbed 2 strokes.<br /><br />Good luck.
