Re: boat paint not good ??
sly36,
I am sorry, but those guns are good to paint fence around your yard and a door in your garage. That is why an electric one costs $75 vs. pro gun as high as $2k. On the other hand I have read of a few posts with people using electric guns and being very happy with final results.
PREPARATION OF SURFACE BEFORE YOU PAINT IS THE KEY !
A friend of mine is a "laquer man". He paints custom kitchen doors. He helped me a lot while my painting project. I did most of prep work, he did most of spraying. He came with his gun he uses to laquer wood doors. That is one impressive little thing. Size of a small canister houshold vacum cleaner, the mashine draws constant pressure.

Enough said...
back to your question:
I spray whith electric gun its ****!!! if i use 600 wet and after 1500 do you its enought???
You know, it all depends what you call enough. Do you want to get the finish as smooth as the painted car? Or would you be OK with somewhat rougher finish?
How many coats did you spray so far?

It is a big job to paint a boat.
It is either or issue... How far are you willing to go making this look ideal.
What was ideal to me was not good enough for a pro friend of mine, who knows all about paints. Boat turned out to look like it just came out of a mold and just got its coat of gelcoat.

Sly, it is your call what's enough. Post picture if you could.
