Hello,
I have a I/O 1994 Four Winns 180 Horizon SE, with a 5.0 OMC Cobra engine...
After I prime the engine for a cold start, we are able to have fun in the boat for about 3-ish hours. After that, it starts stalling every 5 minutes, and we pretty much have to call it a day for fear of getting stuck in the middle of the lake.
Recent work Done:
One of the things I've noticed is that when I bring it home, and pull the plug, it will drain for about 5-6 minutes (constant flow). Seems like a bit too much water in there. Is it possible that when it gets to a certain point with all that water, that it causes the engine to keep stalling out? When I brought it home, drained all the water, and let sit for a day, I started it up in my driveway, and it idled perfectly for about 5 minutes.
Thoughts?
