Does anyone know the style of rear seats that where in a 1965 Sea Queen? I am trying to figure it so that there is easy access to tanks/battery plus not too tall to be able to climb in from the rear ladder.

How funny. I have my boat painted and re-wired and carpeted. Just a few finishing touches. Will have you post pixs this week. I can do all this to a boat but can not figure the pix on this website.

I wish Barnacle Bill was around or the other guy with the Cobia Sea Queen.

Can seats be spray painted?

pix soon to you. Does this boat need a white light in the back? It has an all around white masthead light. Can a bilge be put in this and you mentioned the steering cables beeing dangerous. Could you expound? Thanks

Re: BOAT SEATS cobia

clearify what you want to paint of the seats. a bilge can be added easily, mount the pump, wire it, then drill a hole on the control side of the side up high, mount the fitting and hose. the reason for the control side is so you can see it.

steering you have a 110 hp motor, the cable steering was original equipment, as there was not an alternative. these cables wear, deteriorate, have to be periodically adjusted. if the cable jumps the drum, you loose all steering, i've had it happen. for your and everyones elses safety, i highly recommend you install the teleflex no feed back rotary system. it will last 10 -20 years.

Now What? Is the silocone good?
