Boat Shed Plans:

I'm looking to build a boat shed to store up to a 21' Fish & Ski. I've currently got a 17' Skeeter I want to restore from the hull up and would like this shed to be robust enough to support separating the top cap from the hull. I'm thinking of using 6 x 6 treated lumber as the posts, 2x10 around the top, 2x6 as rafters, and built it with a gabled roof. I'm handy enough at following plans, but not very good on designing something from the ground up.

Does anyone have simple plans for something like this or can point me in the right direction to where I can find a 'how-to' on pole barn construction/open storage sheds?

Thanks! That's a good place to start I suppose. I don't really like the roof design on the carport, but should be able to modify the roof design to be gabled instead of flat.
