[boat sickness]

Have a 2002 200 hp. merc otimax. just had it serviced and the water pump and thermostats replaced. Ran great. Have not used it for about 2 months and now when I turn the key on the smart craft system states the motor is overheating and the alarm sounds. Cranks o.k. and plenty of water coming out pee hole. Block is not hot. Thanks

Sounds like temp sensor might be wonky. Electronics on engines are both a blessing and a curse
