Not good here, last night boat crank snapped and boat slipped off half way down ramp, hit lower unit and put a nice crack in it, I texted the lower unit quick and it ran fine, going to weld it today, anything else I should worry about. ITs an OMC stern drive, it looks like it bent the corner in a touch but the thing ran fine for about 2 min and i took it in to make sure no damage was done to bearing etc. Figured Id JB weld it cause the boat aint worht much more than $1500.

Yea i got safety chains, it was just a dumb mistake :( I just sanded is and cleaned it, looks like the damage may have already been there since there was old JB weld in it...I sanded it and JB welded it so i think i''ll be ok. Ithink i just cracked the same fix from before. cross my fingers.

the one time you like to see old repairs:lol: now you can get it fixed up properly! Inspect the transom make sure there isn't any damage at the mounting points (not sure if its a cobra or stringer...if its a stringer inspect the engine mounting locations)
