I would doubt that any disassembly would be done unless there was a visible indication of an internal problem from an external visual inspection of the area. Disassembly has the potential of creating a problem where there was none. That, and anything disassembled and reassembled frequently looks that way. Especially if it's done by an inspector and not a skilled tradesman.
