Boat Title and Registration question

I don't know if this it the right place to ask this question, but her goes!

I have a perfectly good boat here in Texas that I have no title or registration for. I would like to be able to use it on the water. I have no information on the boat other than the manufacture. there's no serial numbers on it. is there a way to get it registered with out a title, like a homemade trailer? In Texas one can build a trailer and the office categorizes it as an "untitled" vehicle. can I do that with a boat? I would hate to see this good fishing boat just rot away because of a simple piece of paper!

Well you will have a tuff time in Tx getting a title. I speak from experience. Go to the TPWD website and look it up.
One option you might have is to use a service that buys the boat and gives you a title in another state.

Can you tell me more about this service that gets you a title in another state?
