In the recent past I have noticed a rash of "Newbie" boat owner postings. One thing lacking on here is the news media and their bias to support their own ends which we have to tolerate any time we want to know anything about anything.
Well not this time. It looks to me like the economy is picking up and people are getting out and doing things in spite of the downward pressures and all, living their lives and having some fun.
Wife and I raised 4 kids but still carved enough out between doctor visits, braces, college and all the normal stuff to have a boat and the family would go boating most every weekend during the summers. Church, home to change, bucket of chicken and off to the lake. Can't beat it.
Enjoy folks, we surely did and still do.
