I have the chance to trade my good running 1992 seadoo xp:

The guy claims his mechanic is the one that gave the diagnosis on the motor. Any thoughts on the omc sea drive 1.6L specifically? The hull/floor/boat seems to be in decent shape for 20 years old. What do you guys think?

Dunno, that looks like a nice, well cared for SeaDoo. That boat motor could cost big $$$ to get running IF it can be fixed.

I'd keep looking.

Yeah the seadoo was actually completely rebuilt by my uncle about 7 years ago, we just don't use it that much, and I would not be able to get what it is worth by just selling it. So I thought this trade might be a way of getting something for it that I would use more. Of course I would do a compression test and what not on the motor. According to NADA, the hull itself is worth $1000-$1200.
