I have a 1987 Wellcraft Classic 190, 19ft bowrider. Does anyone know where I can find out how much it weighs?

edit: Nevermind, I found it on Wellcrafts website. Color me vary surprised!

Re: Boat weight

what the website tells you gets you in the ballpark, but you might have an even bigger surprise if you go find a scale and weigh it. Go find a truck stop and go through the scale...

I've never been able to find one willing to weigh anything but commercial trucks.

that is probably weight of the boat minus engine. A 2200# 19' bow rider is a little light. The drive/engine will be 600-1000 pounds by itself. Certainly not impossible though.

2200 is dry weight..... no battery, no fuel but yes includes the motor. Remember the 470 is an aluminum block with a cast iron head.

At a truckstop, they don't care what you are weighing, as long as you pay the fee. I've never heard of a CAT scale refusing a customer's money.

As stated in the first reply, be prepared for the actual weight to be not even close to what Wellcraft and/or NADA list.

Find a stone quarry. They are certified, and will gladly weigh it for a fee.
