boat wont start!

i had an electrical problem.fuse block was bad. i fixed that. put the boat in,it cranks over but wont start.it's a 3.0 mercruiser,2000 bayliner.it tried to fire but failed.anyone have any ideas?

So what makes you think it's an electrical problem. The engine needs fuel, air, and spark and it all needs to happen at the right time to make it run. Which element(s) are you missing? Since you have an I/O and this is an engine issue you would be far better off posting you question in the I/O forum. That forum covers engine issues including those that are electrical related.

like silver said spark fuel and air check them all one is missing as complicated as engins are they are also quite simple

Are you talking about the fuse that looks like the one below and attached to the starter?

If so, those usually blow then they get shorted out from someone trying to fix a starter and don't disconnect the battery first.
Do you have spark?

i found the electrical problem.it was abad connection at the fuse block. now i cant get the boat to start.turns over but wont start.its getting fuel.ihavnt checked the coil or distributor yet.any other ideas?
