Boating at Lake Navajo, NM

Thinking of moving to Farmington, NM and it appears the only decent lake around there is Lake Navajo just 30-40 minutes East. Just wondered if anyone has ever been there (or lives there) and what it's like?

We have been thinking of going there as well, there are two marinas on the lake and its decently sized, the problem for us is that its nearly an 8 hour drive from Denver and well if I'm going to travel 8 hours I'm going to Powell. How far is it from Farmington to Powell? If you do move to Farmington I hope you have a Jeep, if you don't now you will soon after! great jeeping and not far from Moab too. Where are you now?
