Boating brothers ( HELP )

Hey guys, just wandering if there is a way to check the number of teeth on a flywheel by possible eng. ser# providing it has never been changed ,thanks 1990 Glastron 175 Sierra<br /> Alpha 1 drive<br /> 3.0 Mercruiser 140 hp.

Nope,.......<br /><br />But,......<br />If you reach down under the back of the Starter,+ See if the Bolts(there are 2) are Either,....<br />Straight across from each other,.....<br />Or,.....<br />Staggered fore,+ aft of each other.......<br /><br />The Straight across bolt pattern is used for the 153 tooth flywheel,..........<br />And,.......<br />The Staggered Pattern is used on the 168 tooth flywheel.......
