I've done this once with a group, but am going with a whole new group of people who have never done made the trip. My only concern is that there are few turns in the Cooper River that I'm afraid I'll miss. Is this route pretty fool proof once you pass through the locks? Just follow the river? Anybody ever measure it in miles from the locks to Charleston harbor?
