Kids are up from Southern California, weather has been great, except today, rain....
However we have had a great island time picking blackberries and making pies, ice cream, etc.
The bounty from the salt has been good too, just ask firstmate Max (our first grandson).
The crabs crawled right into the traps....
And of course Pops (me) got the biggest one....
I think SNL does not agree ;D
Mimi (grandma) and our oldest granddaughter Alyssa were catching flounder from the front hatch...
Dug some clams from the beach too...
Steamed them until they popped open....
Then into a dirty sauce I make and then over pasta for dinner tonight...
Oh....and steamed dungeness crabs too, YUMMY :kiss:
This spot here is reserved for me when things get back to normal, if that is ever possible again
