Can't be too specific but lots of older boats have 15" transoms rated for 75 or more.
I have a bare bones 18'Crestliner utility with a 15 inch transom rated for 70 hp.
In 57 that would probably be twin 35 Evinrude or Johnson motors.
There is post here somewhere about a 64 short shaft V4 Johnson 90hp so plenty of 15" at more that 75 hp.
You could also cut down the transom or use a jack plate.
Depending on the actual length of the leg( some short legs are about 17") you might have to only lower it about 3 inches.
Also a jack plate allows the motor to run higher.
Select a plate with enough setback for the motors clamp handles to clear.

The PO of my J-Craft built up the transom to run a 20" shaft motor.

Isn't the tail wagging the dog here?

If you love that motor b/c it's an old classic, you need to find an old classic boat for it. I'm thinking a cool hydroplane or other racer.

Otherwise you are going to spend more than the $500 the motor is worth (if that) and may have to settle for a substandard boat. if you are looking for a usable set-up, I'd sell the motor to a classic boat guy.

I could sell you my J-Craft... But we don't know where you are, so you may be way to far???
It may not be be the type of boat you would be looking for...

another option, if you're not necesarily looking for a vintage boat is a set back bracket.
