I was about to suggest the Tahoe 195 I/O, deck boat. Lots of room inside and it converts to a great fishing platform. With 4.3 you will have plenty of power for boarding and prices are reasonable.
You just need to really flush it out good after boating, and it accelerates the corrosion of the exhaust manifolds, as well as some other items. It will increase your maintenance costs over fresh water only.
