Well, I've had the survey, bought the boat, got the insurance, paid for minor repairs and now it's time to make sure I get home! (otherwise my wife will surely make me sell it!). Does anybody have anything good or bad to say about either one of these towing services? Is there another choice which may be even better? I'm a member of BoatUS, they say they have the most boats, but I see sea tow out there a lot. Everyones been so helpful around here... Thanks!

Both are reliable, really depends on where you live. Both websites list where they have boats. Choose the one with the most sites closest to where you boat. I agree with pursuit, get the unlimited tow package. We'll worth the investment. I personally use SeaTow. Knock on wood have never needed them, but I see them out and about quite often. Good luck, happy boating.

only been towed once and it was by boatsus the captain was terrible and the first mate was getting sick in like only 3 ft waves i was only 4 miles off shore and they charged me 475 dollars for a 5 mile tow if i had my choice i go with the other.....by the way check your boat insurance most of them now have towing as part of the deal when u get it but make sure its enough depending on where u boat and how far u go in my case i have alot because im sometimes 10 to 20 miles off shore i could just imaging that bill

Neither. Invest in a kicker motor if you can mount it on your boat. I think I would rather swim back to shore (towing my boat behind me of course ;) ) before I would pay for a tow...lol.<br />If you can't get a kicker, then I recommmend the same as the other guys...get the unlimited package. In my area, BoatUS seems the best from what I've heard, but I've never had to use either one, so don't take my word for it.
