I just purchased a 2005 Boca Grande and it has a few items missing in it that I have to replace. Does anyone have a manual they can look up and see if the anchor weight is 22lbs or 35lbs? I would probably rather go bigger in weight but I am not sure if the bigger one will fir into the housing.

I will also need to find a cabin table, table post and a tv in addition to getting a camper canvas and cockpit cover. If anybody has extras laying around somewhere for some odd reason, I would love to buy them.

For now, the most important thing is the anchor though... Thanks...

I don't think you'll find anchor info in the manual. Every anchor model is different in dimension and holding power.

Congratulations on the boat and welcome to iboats.
Have you tried contacting Doral direct by e-mail ???
They were really helpful to me.

Re: Boca Grande 360SE

Thanks for the suggestions. I will definitely contact Doral but I heard that they are sometimes pretty slow to get back. The pictures look like Doral actually uses a Delta style anchor. Delta has the dimensions of its anchors on its website and a 35 lbs anchor is 24" from the tail end where the chain attaches to the part where the inside part of the handle attaches the plow part. The 22 lbs anchor is 20.5" ("D" in the attachment). If someone can measure this distance on their own boat, it would be great help to figure out which one I should go with.

Any chandlery should allow you to return the anchor size that doesn't fit.

Re: Boca Grande 360SE

I was in contact with a Doral dealer from Florida and he was kind enough to measure it for me. He said it was 21" which pretty much translates to the Delta 22 lb anchor.

I bought the 35 lb anchor off of Ebay so I can't return it now. I guess I'll just have to put it back on Ebay and try to sell it with a minimum loss...

While I was searching for this information, it really surprised me how little information there is on the internet about Doral boats. I was in a Chaparral forum with my last boat and there was a ton of information on Chaparrals if I ever needed it. I am kind of an internet junkie and if I couldn't find a lot of information I don't think anybody else will have a lot of luck. I wonder if we can get in touch with some Doral dealers and ask them to send an email to their previous customers to direct them to this forum to make it more active???

No problem with getting more members out here as far as I know.
Did you contact Doral directly yet ??? do you have their e-mail address ?? if not let me know. I got a response and assistance within 24 hours.

Re: Boca Grande 360SE

I e-mailed Doral through their website and received a reply back from an e-mail address indicating that they received my message "svigneux@footsteps.net". I haven't heard back from them yet and it's been 3 days.

As soon as I wrote my last email, they got back to me. I am off to finally go to St. Petersburg to get my Boca Grande on Friday. It is now being bottom painted and buffed.
