86 Evinrude 90 hp I ran it every 2 or 3 weeks on the muffs for 5 minutes during the winter down here in Mobile, AL and it ran very well. Took it out 2 weeks ago and it ran fine. This past Saturday it would bog down but when we pumped the bulb it ran fine for a while then it must of happened 2 or 3 more times. The boat is a 16' walk through open bow type. Any suggetions would be great. Thanks

Re: Bogging down

You're starving for fuel. There may be several reasons.

1. Faulty primer bulb check valve.

2. Faulty anti siphon valve in fuel tank outlet (assuming you have a built in fuel tank).

3. Poor fuel.

4. Clogged carburetor.

The easiest way to check thses is to run the engine on a known good seperate tank and fuel line.
