Hi folks, quick question, 1981 evinrude 235 v6 cross flow. I bought it for 250.00 with 4 cylinders 90 lbs compression, middle port cylinder has 60 and middle starboard 30. I took off the heads the cylinders are clean with no scoring and the rings and head gasket lookedput it back together with same head gasket and permetex just to see if it might be the head gasket and compression didnt change. So now I figure its the rings and I got most of it apart except for the intake manifold all bolts out but it will not budge. Now for the quick quick question, is there bolts from the crank shaft side coming out? My clymer book isnt to specific. Thank You.
