Evinrude's "fly by wire" control system is available on certain 2010 models and is made in kit form to backfit certain E-TECs from 2008 and newer.
They call it the ICON system and it works great and is easier to use than Merc's DTS system. It was introduced in Feb. '09 at the Miami Boat Show.
