well, i was gonna do me some bond line work. wanted to replace the seal as it looked a bit cracked. i was gonna use 3m 5200 or 3m 4200....... my gap to fill is anywhere from 1/8th- 3/8''. the 3/8 gap is pretty deep too. inch deep maybe.......i guess i'd use the 5200 except for the screws that hold the rub rail on. if i use 5200. i'm guessin i'll not get them out again w/o grief....
anyone got any recommendations one way or the other, 5200 or 4200......or something else......

Re: bond line?

thanks gc......
i've also read the 3m blurb about 4200 and 5200 on their web site. + done a search here for both.....i guess i'm leaning to 5200 fast cure for its adhesive properties. as the 4200 seems to be more of a sealer. i suppose for doing the cap to the hull the adhesive would be benificial......

a done deal now. 5200 fast cure on order from iboats........
