Ok I am just starting to get a very basic idea of how to do proper fiberglass repairs from reading all the terrific posts in here. I just finished reading one of Old Carver's updates on his restoration and the information is great. (Old Carver's Posts are under 'our carver restoration'..., very cool)
I was wondering if any of you dust lovers could recommend any books to help a guy like me learn more about the basics. I think I am at a skill level somewhere higher than using a basic gel matching repair kit, but doing full layups are a but intimidating.
At some point my engine will be coming out to do the engine mounts and I would like to actually achieve a smooth surface before painting. (little frustrated I guess)
Any suggestions on research material?
