Bottom Paint Question

Does bottom paint have to be redone if a fiber glass boat is pulled out of the water for any length of time? Does it dry out and become in affective? Or if it is in good shape can the boat just go back in the water again?

That all depends on what type of paint was applied...The only type that can be out of water for any length of time are Controlled Solubility Copolymers,all the others - Ablative / hard antifoul / polishing copolymers all require repainting once exposed to air for any length of time....If in doubt,repaint.
