bottom paint sailboat to sell it

I understand that as soon as a boat is bottom painted, it should be put in the water. I would like to sell the boat after bottom painting. How long do I have before effectiveness is lost? Or.... is there a bottom paint that I can use that would last until I sell it (1-2 months)? Thanks for any help you can provide T.

there are bottom paints made for trailered boats,thats what you need, the regular kind will dry out if left out of water too long.
