HI
I just got my boat off the trailer seting on stands. Last year I stripped the bottom and replaced a plank.I cleaned it up and painted it with anti fouling paint. When I pulled it out of the marina I pressure washed it good. I have some spots bare but most of the paint looks good. My question is what do I need to do to prep it for a recoat.I never kept a boat in the water all season
before.
The boat is a 22' Skiff Craft all wood.
Thanks

follow directions on the paint can, if you have to sand, wear apropriate safety gear, bottom paint can be toxic.

If the bottom paint is Ablative, do NOT pressure wash it. You will just blast off the paint. After a good run around the lake, and then the trailer, bottom should be clean anyway. Any scum line a soft sponge and a hose fine. I just simply slap on a little more if some wears thin.
