bottomline d/f not showing depth

I have a bottomline tourney 1100 (cheapie model). everything else (temp...light etc.) works on the screen but its not showing depth...i went through and played around with gain and contrast...any advice here or should i just drop the 55 bucks and buy a new one?

Hi Andy,<br />Perhaps the transducer cable connection pins are out of alignment with the display head socket. Or there could be a corrosion build-up at the connection. Not much more you can check. Testing<br />and repairs will cost more than the unit is worth. <br />Regards,<br />Peter
