Hey all, I've been lurking for some time, and I wanted to thank everyone for the wealth of information and knowledge before I made a purchase.
I finally bought a boat that was within my price range that suits my needs and didn't look like a total disaster...
1986 Winner ZZ880 with a 1990 Johnson 150HP (J150TLESB). The previous owner stated that the engine was a new old stock from a Marina in NE that went out of business 2 years ago, and that the guy had 3 of these things in there original crates never touched. There was no paperwork proving as such, but I can tell from the cowling that it has barely seen the light of day, it starts right up and purrs, and looks immaculate. It's probably only got 50 hours on the thing. The hull looks awesome for over 30 years old, and it has all the bells and whistles a fisherman could want.
