Bought a new boat!

First of all thanks to you guys for your opinions and advice. Very helpful!

I just bought a spanking new Glastron MX 185 (entry level I know but its enough boat for me and the lady) 190 Mercruiser and all the bells and whistles. Wanted red to match the pickup but had to get black which looks sexier anyways. Turns out all the new sterndrives are going fuel injected so prices are going to jump. I got one of the last carburated models. I'm just waiting for this God awful snow to melt so I can bring it home.

And now to get rid of this Bayliner...

Congrats on the new rig, but telling iboaters about a new boat without posting some pics is like waving a red flag at a bull. Throw up some pics when you get 'er home, and welcome to iboats.

way to go man. them mx185's look darn nice. congrats...

fore warning though. be careful where that upholstery where it is black at. it's gonna be real hot. like in burn ya hot on a sun shining hot day. i got a real dark green, almost black floor mat i use in my boat. if it's been in the sun any time at all on a hot day. ya can't step on it for a sec. w/o knowing it and moving off it real fast. good thing about the dark color mat in my boat is when it's cool out (spring and fall), that nice, warm, heat absorbing mat feels good on the feet.

Congrats, you will love it cause it's a Glastron, I have a 2008 GT 185 190 HP, I have not had a problem with her, the only thing crappy is the lousy Jensen stereo and chinese speakers which I replaced.

Congrats. I'm in MN too. Where do plan to boat? We do a lot of Gull, Bay, Farm Island and Thunder lake out of town boating. What was the difference between the cost of the Carbed v6 and the MPI V6? If you don't have one already, get yourself a spare tire and holder on the trailer plus a T lug wrench.
