And the transom is rotten.

I think I'm going to blend the 2 into 1 awesome old retro

Has Attwood cable steering

Chrysler 120 engine

Opinions?

I added some semi-fresh smelly gas and cleaned all the battery-solenoid-starter connections and she fired right up!

Last registration expired in 2007.

Now I have a dilemma.... I cannot possibly fix both. This one needs everything except major engine work and the blue one has been stripped and repainted but its Merc 115 will not start, probably carb related.

Should I move the Chrysler or keep tinkering with the Merc? Controls and steering will need to be worked out if I move the Chrysler but it sure is nice looking for being 42 yrs old.

Well if you've chosen the one your going to restore then you have months of work to do while you decide on power. Most here will give Merc the nod I would suspect.

The blue one:

Has better floors and a good transom as well as new paint on the exterior. Huge amount of work already completed. I plan to keep the white trailer.
I wish the Merc fired this easily.

If the goal is to get on the water fast flip the motors and trailers. Invent some quick seats and go boating. Play with the Merc over the winter.

If you need funds and are looking at the long haul sell for Chrysler and use the $ for boat funds to repair the Merc.
