I'm fixing up my boat which is a 16' lund S-16 or something like that. I need that part that goes right at the point of the boat. Sometimes it has a handle on it and often people fasten an anchor holder to it. My boat doesn't have one and It looks really ugly with the open end of those rails exposed. Any one have a place to buy those or should I just look in ebay or craigslist. I dont even know what it would be called. See photo.

Re: Bow Cap

Used boat parts are super tough to come by. I'd suggest calling some of the salvage yards available by Google search.

Re: Bow Cap

I never thought to call Lund. I actually talked to a dealer in town. They called Lund for me and I will have it next week. New even! $23 for the bow cap and another $10 for the transom handle I needed. The dealer was awesome and so was Lund! Nothing bad to say. If I ever buy a new boat, it might have to be a Lund, they have been more then helpful with my almost 40 year old boat.
